    And what does one do if a cow bird egg is found?
    My box has 4 blue bird eggs and 1 spotted one that looks like the cow birds. Mother blue bird is close to finishing laying and may begin as early as tomorrow to incubate.

    Hi Bob. You don’t do anything with the cowbird egg. Cowbirds are native. You just should make note of it if you’re reporting the nest to us here at NestWatch. Thanks for asking!
