Are you sure it’s not a Carolina Wren nest? The bird looks similar to a House Wren, but the nests are very different. What an unusual spot they chose!
it could be. We have Carolina wrens here. A house wren stays nearby making noise (a nice noise) all day and they have nested nearby I chose this nest because of the unusual location. I have more colorful shots of Robin nest/eggs/newborns but that is common. This is not. Thank you for you thoughts.
