     Hi Eileen,
     Yes I did in fact climb the tree to get that photo, it was not easy. I knew the gray jay pair that were nesting there really well, and was watching the nest every day.The day of this photo the female had left the nest for a little short break so I took the opportunity and climbed up as quickly as possible to see what she had and was so happy to see 3 beautiful eggs in the nest.
