Description
This photo was taken at Cabell Marsh, Finley Wildlife refuge. My wife and I walked out the board walk to the bird blind and this little Phoebe was fly-catching and bringing back their prize catch, to show it off to us. The little bird was so proud.

I watched a few recent fledglings there yesterday. The boardwalk was a chorus of Swainson’s Thrushes. And just one American White Pelican out on a snag, along with one adult Bald on a different one. Always a great place to spend a few hours!
