Kim, I stumbled across this site and your beautiful photo. I am an amateur artist and would love to capture this in oils. Any chance you might grant permission to use this as a reference photo for a painting?

  7. Kim, THIS PHOTO IS AMAZING!! I am a artist who would LOVE to draw this but won’t do it without your permission. I am willing to take no for an answer with respect for your art. But I had to ask. Valerie Hoste (810) 334-4774

Congratulations! Such a fantastic photo. Cardinals have always been a favorite bird of mine. Especially after we moved into our home in Florida. We had a male that made it his daily duty to peck at all the downstairs windows. This went on for about 6 years. I miss him still.

  16. Marianne says:

Forgot to add, you should sell copies, Kim. I’d love to buy one.

My husband and I have several pairs of cardinals in our yard and so admire them. Sadely he died after 49 years together but this photo so epitomizes our love for each other. This photo makes me happy and cry at the same time. Thank you for this wonderful reminder.
