Description

Having just arrived at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, I did a late afternoon drive and came upon a few Western Grebe families among a large group of their brethren and enjoyed the show. Whenever the male would bring in a small fish, the chicks on the female’s back would be anxious to be the one to get the treat.
