Description

This is the 4th brood of bluebirds I’ve had in my yard, the second successful one (hopefully that isn’t a knock on wood). I’ve trapped 5 House Sparrows and 1 European Starling in the past week, so these babies will go into a safer world. I’ve tried to name nestlings in the past, but have a hard time keeping track. I would love to band these babies, but apparently you have to be 21 to get a license to band? While other 20 year olds are excited to turn 21 and drink, I’m going to be excited to be able to band birds.
