8 eggs in what I believe is a Starlig nest in our grill on our deck. 2 eggs were laid on May 11th.

That’s a lot of eggs! I wonder if some parasitism is going on here, especially if 2 eggs were laid on one day (one egg per day is the biological maximum). Thanks for sharing.
That is what I thought too. So maybe 2 mommies are laying eggs? What are the odds that they all hatch?
