5 bluebirds in my nest box. I offer mealworms to the parents and they gladly accept them for their young. This is the first clutch I’ve had because I just moved here last fall. Parents and babies are very healthy and the nest box is close to my backyard patio so I can monitor them. I suspect they will fledge in the next few days. (not sure why the photo copied upside down).
How do you offer them mealworms? Are they live mealworms or dried?
