First time chickadees nesting in my garden nest box for chickadees.
We started to take out an old rotten stump in our yard to keep birds from nesting there since we have 4 cats. We found two baby birds in a nest so we tied the bark back, put a fence around and watched very close for two weeks. Today they are gone. We assume they flew or we hope so.
