Hi Ellis. This looks a bit too big for a hummingbird nest, which is usually about the size of a walnut shell half, and always tightly woven into a compact structure. Without knowing more about where it fell from, it’s hard to say exactly who made it.

It doesn’t look like a hummingbird nest…. normally, they add spider silk, lichen, and down.
