A pair of Owls nests in this area each spring. It is a treasure hunt to find the new nest and follow the young until they fledge. Seeing Mom come in with a snake was a special treat.

    Great shots…any tips on how to find the nests? I’ve seen the great horned and the barred owl on our property many times…and have good pictures too, but have never seen any fledglings…

    That dose not look like a Great Horned owl, Maybe it is.
