At first seeing this bird I was Ooo it’s a Summer Tanager. But with some more research I discovered this is a non breeding male Scarlet Tanager! A couple years back I was able to see the bright red one in the yard, this year a yellow one appeared!

    Wow!! I have never seen a Scarlet Tanger before, only Summer Tanagers.

  3. And I think that is a male molting.
