Curious ~ what kind of shrub did they nest in?
It’s a dwarf alberta spruce! We have five in the yard in a row… all around 6-7 feet tall.
Interesting… a house finch has just made a nest in a hanging fern on my porch. Earlier this year they nested in the Christmas wreath and fledged 5 around May 8th.
