I built this prototype eave box for house finches and so far they love it!
Normally i do not care for finches because they are bullies at the feeder,(mainly the female’s) but i have to say… this is ADORABLE!
You’re a good man for putting that Eave box on your house! I’ve never seen or heard of an eave box until now. Is this your first year?
No, this is my 2nd year doing nestwatch. This is the first year for the eavebox though.
