Killdeer Bird Spotted In Middle Tennessee

Saw this bird here in Hendersonville TN last week June 2014, I had never seen one of these before. I believe their name is Killdeer. Very pretty bird.

    Yes, they are called Killdeer! And they are Plovers. I live in Stevens Point, WI, just outside of a town called “Plover” named after these birds. We love our plovers <3

    I saw two of them in Jasper Alabama today outside the local ABC store (Alcohol Beverage Control). I think they wanted some Wild Turkey but did not have proper i.d. No money either.
