On the beach this summer we watched a flock of Black skimmers were nesting and feeding there young. It was amazing to watch.

I am from Florida and have never seen that. What a beautiful bird. How do they protect their young from people walking the beach? Down here we fence off turtle nests and require homes on the beach to turn off outside lights.
