A Bluebird nest at my cabin at work. They hatched and flew off on July 4th. I have seen them, perched together on the fence rails and trail signs.

    Are you sure that they’re Mountain Bluebirds? it would be rare if they were.

    Hi Starr, Mountain Bluebirds breed in the western U.S. and Canada, and are not usually found in Alabama. You may likely have an Eastern Bluebird nest. Feel free to check out the differences between Mountain and Eastern Bluebirds on our All About Birds pages.
