Mourning Dove Eggs

One response to “Mourning Dove Eggs”

  1. Jim says:

They’re just like humans. The male has a short attention span and leaves the nest when he gets bored. The female, like the human female, does not trust him so she always keeps an eye on him and when she sees him go flying off, she gets back to the nest usually within 30 seconds. The female is just like my wife. Eventually, the female shoots a dirty look over the balcony railing and this guilts the male into relieving the female for a while. Birds aren’t so tough to understand.
