A Mourning Dove built a nest in a large old strainer I had on my small greenhouse on my porch. We watched and went to see in the morning while she was gone & there were no eggs, and later there was one. I looked up to find how many were the usual amount of eggs, the information said one egg would be laid in the evening, and another in the next morning. But, there is only one egg still 2 days later. Is that unusual, or is it sometimes longer than one day between laying?
