Description

Mrs. Sparrow came 6 or 7 times to collect dove feathers. My doves always fight over seeds and pull each other’s feathers out.

Would you like some Mr. dove? Is the blue on the mourning dove’s head the male and the female’s not blue?

  2. Texas Bird Family says:

The male doves have pinkish bellies with light blueish-gray crowns and necks, and the female’s color ranges from light brown to darker brown. Males are also larger. The dove with the sparrow is a female. The doves looked horrified that their feathers were being taken!
