Description

This looks like an albatross! Albatrosses don’t live here and I have no clue what this is. It was a huge white bird with long grayish wings.

I thought it also was an albatross to. Where was this at?

    Katy TX

My best guess would be it looks like a Common Gull.

Thanks, Common Gulls only live in the upper US states and Europe. So I doubt it’s that. We do have Ring-billed Gulls that look just like Common Gulls.

This bird was huge, bigger than a hawk, and a lot bigger than the Laughing Gulls at Galveston. It also had a beak like an albatross. Maybe a Yellow-nosed Albatross
