Young Cardinals, a Nuthatch, and a Sparrow with a beak full of something! The White Breasted Nuthatches have been displaying dominant behavior at the feeder by fanning their tails and wings.

I love watching the nuthatches! I get so many baby birds in spring and summer, it’s so fun watching them grow and fledge. I love the nuthatch photo! They’re hard to photograph unless I use “action mode” on my camera.
