That looks like a dark-eyed junco on the side,& the cowbird has it’s leg hidden under the feathers.Do I look like a flamingo?Cute!
Sorry, but his leg was truly missing. We watched him hop around for days. Only one leg.
Oh!
He probably got stuck in a trap and escaped. Why are people so rude to birds to trap, kill, and destroy them and their eggs.
Ya,it’s so mean.
Poor little Cowbird. We saw a grackle that had 1 leg and foot and 1 leg and no foot. It just hopped. We were feeding ducks and sometimes the grackles come over. We fed it some food.
I recommend leaving some food out for him. He may not be able to get food as easily.
That’s so sad😢
