    @Harper Price I was looking at some of your photos on ebird and saw an American Black photo that you said was a ruddy duck. This is very rare in your area! 16 Jul 2019 is the checklist date.

    BTW they did nest in a gourd, but I guess they changed spots because the nest was abandoned early!
