I HAVE INMY GARDEN A HUGE STINGING NETTLE BUSH. SHOULD i GATHER THE FLUFF AND DEPOSIT IT IN A STRATEGIC PLACE WHERE BIRDS WILL PICK IT UP TO USE FOR THEIR WINTER NEST
Hi Sylvie, Birds do not make nests in the winter. Some species may choose cavities to roost in, but it’s not always the same location every night and rarely are they padding the space with any extra materials. If you’d like to make a roosting box for birds in your yard, learn more on this All About Birds webpage.
