Hi, This is a juvenile Blue Jay – it recently fledged this spring/summer. Young Blue Jays typically havemore grayish markings on their heads before molting into deeper blue adult plumage. You can see more examples of juvenile Blue Jays here.
Thank you. After looking at some more Blue Jay photos, I discovered it looked different because it’s crown was brownish grey, and I figured that was because it was a juvenile or female. Now I know!
Yes, that’s what I was going to say. It’s a Juvenile, I’ve had so many at my old house now I moved so all the birds are still coming in. Btw this is Coco I was gone for very long but I’m back on this new account 🙂

It’s probably a juvenile but another thought could be a blue jay in moult
