I didn’t find anything quite like your nest here, it would help if you could tell me that county and state was this nest found?
The nest was found attached to a vine that I took down from a Kukui Nut
tree in Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii. We have Shama Thrushes, Cardinalls, Java Sparrow, other Sparrows etc.
Sorry I can’t find a good website for nesting birds of Hawaii with much detail of their nests and where they nest… I don’t know what species made the nest.
