Description
There is a path that goes behind my Grandmother’s house that leads to a very large lake. There are two duck houses that were already set up (Who knows how long they have been sitting there) and I saw that one contained a nest.

I took this picture from the side of the box the angles I took them at may have affected some of the colors in the eggs,
Indeed it is.
Omar, The female Wood Duck will pull soft downy feathers to line the box and help keep the eggs warm.
That is down that the female duck plucked from her body to ensure the eggs stay warm.
