

2012 NestWatch Year in Review
Thank you to everyone who participated in NestWatch during the 2012 nesting season! Your contributions helped make this one of our most successful years ever. In 2012, for the second year in a row, you set a new record for the most nesting attempts monitored in a single year. You also broke annual records for most nesting attempts monitored for eight individual species (Eastern Bluebird, Tree Swallow, American Robin, Eastern Phoebe, Northern Cardinal, Northern Mockingbird, Carolina Chickadee, and Tufted Titmouse). Additionally, you monitored 27 species for the first time! The data that you contribute make a difference. In 2012, NestWatch data were used in 6 research projects.
