New Blog: Making Space for Barn Swallows

The familiar Barn Swallow is an agile, active flier that nests in close association with humans. However, their numbers have been declining recently due to several factors. In our latest blog post, swallow conservationist Mara Silver shares some insights on how she helped resurrect a colony in a disused barn site.

The NestWatch dataset is available to download from the NestWatch website. Each January, we update the files to include the previous year’s data. We’ve completed this year’s update, and the NestWatch dataset now contains 758,786 nest records.
