Description

I have so many hummers I’m going to have to buy another feeder. It was fun to catch this one preening as they are always on the move and so quick!

Aaaawww, so cute. I’m going to get another feeder because we have a feeder bully and I’m hoping that if I put the two feeders close together, then he won’t be so aggressive.

What a cute hummer! Looks like a young male in the 3rd picture because of the red. Sometimes females can have a bit of red too.

We had our first hummingbird at our feeder today. A female Ruby-Throated Hummingbird. She was so tiny! I just put up the feeder yesterday.

I think it is a male, it is very rare for a female to have red. Sometimes an older female will have black, but red is very rare.
