    So cool that you found a Killdeer nest. But, wow, I thought the outcomes of my yard bird nests were bad. I worry that I’ve led predators to the nests. Do you worry about that?

      As long as you don’t leave dead-end trails to the nest and don’t stay over a minute then it’s very unlikely that a predator would find the nest. Fewer than 20% of bird eggs end up hatching and 75% of baby birds don’t live their first year so it’s very unlikely that NestWatchers are to blame for nest predation.
