Description

Mama Lucy had 3 beautiful eggs on 4/19/2017. Unfortunately, a Cowbird had discovered her nest, and laid her egg in the nest. We looked for 10-15 minutes looking for the missing House Finch egg, before we determined that the egg had been destroyed. Although we are saddened by the loss, we understand that it is just nature.
Lucy, the female House Finch, seems to have accepted the egg, but only time will tell!
