Hey! Jordan what do you use to record birds? I uploaded two recordings last night, it says its “processing audio”, how long does it take, its been 12 hours. Btw we are heading to Montana on the 21st; also how are you guys doing?

Hey Micah! I’m not sure if Jordan saw this, but she uses the Nikon D-30 for recording. I’m not sure about the upload time. I’m glad y’all are headed back to Montana! Doing anything for memorial day? Well, all of us are doing well. Same old same old, wishing for things to be better. How bout y’all? I hope I have safe travels btw! 😊

P.S we’re pretty sure the swallows are going to nest there. It’s on our front porch, so exiting! If they do we’ll make sure to post updates!

We are doing well, how does she record on a D-30? Is there a button for audio recording? I can take videos on the D-90 but that’s all. We won’t be doing any thing for memorial day, will you guys be doing any thing? I hope the nest does well.

There isn’t an audio button, she just uses the record button with a blacked out screen. Not the most efficient, but it works. We may or may not do anything. If it was a normal year, we would probably go to Matagorda Bay Beach, and bird and just chill there. But because of this stuff we may end up going but I don’t know. 😒 But anyways, I know other people are going through way worse than I am so I have to keep my head up. If you ever need to talk or need anything I’m here for you. ☺

I hope y’all can make it to the beach, yep im always around to. You can depend on that. I forgot but we are going camping on the week end before Memorial Day. Do you like to camp? I do, and when its in the mountains its amazing. I love every thing outside, fishing hunting, biking, birding, hiking etc. Btw the audio is one ebird now, it takes about 36 hours to upload. Birding is a great thing to do during this time, I’v been doing a lot more lately. Also you can rate my audio (if you want to) here:
Thanks, and keep your head up!

Oh it’s actually a Sony d3500, if it does not upload within a day, it might be too big.
