Thanks for the comments! The last time I checked the nest, there was just one egg left…I wonder why.
The female still incubates the remaining egg, and the male still brings food to her, but will she lay eggs again in this breeding season? I now that they have, usually, two broods per year. I don’t think that the eggs were eaten, because I didn’t saw any eggshells. Maybe they are bothered by the sparrows who are building a nest near them? Or by the Wood Pigeons who are searching for a mate in my garden?
