Sadly, I checked today, and the chicks are gone! The nest is completely empty. I had another nest visit on June 21 and took a photo of the three further grown chicks, but I don’t think they were ready to fledge by today. I can upload that photo from three days ago.
I’m afraid they were taken by a snake.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
