     The Atlantic Puffin can be seen from Greenland to the coast of eastern Delaware (USA).
     Puffins are more common in Maine and eastern Canada. Puffins breed on the Bird Islands in large numbers each year.

     In Maine, puffins are seen from late April to November (mostly during summer months). In October, they start growing their winter plumage, making them harder to spot.
     Also puffins are very small (less than a foot in length).
