Description

I saw this falcon at a park. It seems to have the correct field marks for a Peregrine (long tail, broad wings), but I am not sure. I know it is a poor photo, but any help would be appreciated!

I don’t think it would be in your area. Maybe a kestrel or a hawk.

Other people saw a Peregrine Falcon at the same park. I think it was too big to be a kestrel, and its wings were too broad to be a Merlin. I don’t think it can be an Accipiter since its wings “bend” like a falcon. I could be wrong. I really want it to be a peregrine since I’ve never seen one before.

    What color was it?
