Description
Dove sitting in a Red Cedar tree. She allowed me to approach. My photo is not great but it was a lovely encounter. She never moved.

It actually appears to be a male. Males have grayish-blue heads with pink bellies, and the female’s head is brown. Both parents sit on the nest and mate for life.
