Black-chinned Hummingbird Chicks

This nest is located three feet above the ground in a live Black Walnut tree branch.

We only found this hummer and her nest because we saw her fly into it. The nest was extremely well hidden among the leaves and branches, and difficult to find even when we knew where it was. Kudos to the little lady for doing a job with marvelous perseverance.
